Special conditions and stipulations
The Reader guarantees that he/she is a native English/ Spanish/ German/ Italian/ French speaker between 19 and 25 years of age.
The Reader guarantees that he/she shall always meet the following stipulations upward from the shoulder line (due to the frame of the “portrait”) while the contract is in force:
- He/she does not have a piercing or any piercing mark referring to piercing (not even on the teeth, tongue or mouth).
- He/she does not have a tattoo (not even in the mouth).
- He/she does not have any visible interventions transforming the natural body or skin (not even under-skin jewellery or implantation).
- He/she does not have any visible injury, wound or scaring (piercing whole, body jewellery whole, scar, herpes, variola spot, etc.)
- His/her nose and ear hair is not visible.
- His/her eyebrows are not tattooed, but in a natural condition, neat but not lined.
- He/she does not wear glasses.
- He/she does not wear contact lenses in a colour different from the natural colour of the eyes.
- He does not have a moustache, full beard, stubble or long ear locks.
- He/she does not have impaired facial expressions.
- He/she has all his/her teeth, healthy and exempt from jewellery and braces.
- He/she does not have a denture.
- His/her teeth are of a natural shape, white (including crowns and fillings).
- He/she does not have teeth in a slanting position.
- His/her gums are healthy, exempt from paradentosis.
- His/her tongue is healthy, exempt from fur.
The Reader guarantees to meet the following stipulations while the contract is in force:
- His/her hair is not patterned, the hair colour is natural or coloured of one tone throughout (highlights are excluded).
- He/she shall maintain the same condition identical to the photographs and video recording he/she has sent of himself/herself from the beginning to the expiry of the contract (hairstyle, body weight, make-up, etc.).
- He/she shall always keep to the basic requirements of physical hygiene and a well-groomed appearance; his/her hair is always clean and kempt.
- He/she always has the discrete make-up applied for him/her for the first video recording.
- He/she guarantees that his/her alcohol level shall always be under 0.8 per mille during the video recordings.
- He/she guarantees that while the contract is in force he/she shall not be under the influence of any drugs and shall always comply with the local laws.
- He/she acknowledges that not knowing the law does not exempt from punishment!
- He/she guarantees that he/she shall not get into a situation or condition which will make him/her unable to appear the video recording for longer than 1.5 days.
- He/she guarantees to arrive at the studio on time when work begins.
- He/she guarantees that he/she shall not bring a third party not included in the contract or a pet to the studio.
- He/she guarantees to comply with all the stipulations of this contract while the contract is in force and acknowledges that violation of any of its stipulations shall result in automatic cancellation of the contract.
- He/she guarantees that he/she shall not wear anything on the body above the shoulder line during the recordings due to religious or other reasons.
If female, the Reader guarantees to comply with the following stipulations while the contract is in force:
- She is not in any stage of pregnancy.
- She is not bald in any form.
- Her shortest length of hair is an even 10 cm on average.
- She shall clasp her long hair in the back or wear it in a bun during the recordings.
- She shall have her short hair in a kempt, classic and traditional style (her hair is not extravagant, shorn in places, jellied in spikes, or punk style, etc.).
- She shall have earrings if they are of identical size and form worn in both ears and each with of a maximum 1 cm in diameter, unobtrusive and not hanging.
- She shall wear a white blouse in business suit style during the recordings.
- She shall remove any facial hair a day before the recordings begin.
If male, the Reader guarantees to comply with the following stipulations while the contract is in force:
- He is not bald in any form.
- He shall not have long hair (maximum length is 12 cm).
- He shall not have hair shorter than 1 cm.
- He shall have an evenly cut, classic short hair style.
- He shall not wear earrings.
- He shall always shave at least one hour before the recordings (with disregard to religious or ethnic affiliation or cultural traditions).
- He shall always wear a white shirt of a business suit style with a dark tie during the recordings.
Health issues
- The Reader guarantees that he/she does not suffer from epilepsy or psoriasis.
- The Reader guarantees that he/she does not suffer from asthma or allergies affecting breathing, the airways or speech.
- The Reader guarantees that he/she does not have allergies affecting the eyes, face, neck or the scalp.
- The Reader guarantees that he/she is not motor-disabled. (The studio is not equipped with a ramp or device assisting movement, e.g. a lift, and secure movement for a motor-disable person cannot be ensured).
- The Reader shall pay for his/her own treatment and care in the case of accident, or for any health expenses for the whole duration of the contract.
- The Reader is obliged to verify that he/she has taken out health and accident insurance before leaving for Budapest (the location of the recordings). Failure to do so involves automatic termination of the contract.
- The Reader agrees that he/she is obliged to make a general health declaration after arrival in Budapest. If the content of his/her personal health declaration is in contradiction with any of the stipulations of the present contract, this contract is regarded as terminated due to a cause attributable to the Reader.
